Add Energy Secures 10-Year Well Support Deal with BP
Add Energy, a subsidiary of the energy consultancy group ABL Group listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, has successfully secured a long-term contract with BP. This ten-year master services agreement encompasses the provision of well services and emergency well control services.
Under this agreement, Add Energy will deliver well control engineering modelling services, utilizing their expertise to enhance preventive well control measures. The services will be conducted from Add Energy's offices in Norway and the USA.
Morten Haug Emilsen, Manager for Well Control at Add Energy, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the alignment of their organizations' values and acknowledging BP's rigorous well control standards.
With a history of handling around 85 live well incidents and delivering over 1,800 blowout contingency studies, Add Energy considers itself a leading company in the field of well control. This strategic partnership with BP solidifies their position and further reinforces their reputation for excellence.
In response to increased demand for drilling and well engineering services, Add Energy expanded its presence with a new office in Kuala Lumpur, aimed at supporting the Malaysian oil and gas industry.
