Coastguard in Offshore Medivac from North Sea FPSO
A Coastguard helicopter landed at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary tonight a little after 10.30pm. A spokesman for the Coastguard said the helicopter was involved in a Medivac from the Chevron Captain FPSO after an offshore worker took ill. The Medic on-board decided a Medivac was necessary and the Coastguard helicopter was dispatched. Oil and Gas People has no further information on the workers condition at this time but we will update this story as it comes available.
