Kleven Verft has reported that platform supply vessel (PSV) Rem Eir, build no 356, was delivered to Remøy Shipping on November 26, 2014.

With a length of 92.5 metres and a deck capacity of 1080 m2, Rem Eir is, according to the company, the world’s largest environmentally friendly LNG-powered PSV. The vessel was built in Norway and designed by Wärtsila Ship Design.

Kleven says that Rem Eir PSV will now enter a long-term charter for Statoil.

This is the fourth PSV delivered from Kleven this year to enter into a Statoil chart.
