Offshore Helicopter Lands at Aberdeen International Airport...
An offshore helicopter has landed safely at Aberdeen International Airport after a mid-air alarm was raised.
Both pilots and crew responded to the alarm and followed standard procedure in declaring an emergency.
A spokeswoman for Bristow said: “A Bristow helicopter landed safely at around 1.40pm.”
Fire crews were scrambled in line with standard procedure due to an alarm being sounded in the cockpit of the Bristow helicopter on Friday afternoon.
The helicopter is believed to have been leaving the airport when the incident happened.
A passenger on the flight said they landed with no drama and are currently enjoying lunch at Bristow Helicopters waiting for another flight.
