The AeroGulf helicopter had crashed during a night training flight shortly after taking off from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. The body of the other pilot on board had been found shortly after the crash.
Search operations had been conducted over the weekend to locate the missing pilot, and parts of the helicopter's wreckage were also recovered from the crash site.
The Air Accident Investigation Department at the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), in coordination with other relevant authorities, is actively conducting investigations into the incident to determine its cause.
The GCAA expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased pilots and appealed to the public to rely solely on information from official sources while refraining from spreading unverified rumors.
