National Gas is the operator of the entire gas transmission system in Great Britain and has engaged Wood to digitally upgrade essential infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and terminals, covering a total of 7,600km.

PETRONAS has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with AIQ, an Abu Dhabi-based technology company, to jointly develop Artificial Intelligence solutions aimed at accelerating the energy transition and promoting sustainability across energy operations.

This contract involves partnering with Mellitah Oil & Gas Libyan Branch, a consortium jointly established by Libya's National Oil Corporation and Eni North Africa, to execute a gas project off the coast of Libya.

The consent covers production drilling activities, including plugging and abandonment (P&A) operations, as well as completion of two additional wells - M-1 BH on Statfjord Øst and F-4 CH on Statfjord Nord.

The three firms entered into agreements last summer to create the joint venture, which will comprise the subsea businesses of SLB and Aker Solutions, with Subsea 7 acquiring a 10% stake in the venture.
